Brands to watch: fresh faces

Situated in the creative heart of London, Jacket Required is always on the lookout for the next big names in fashion. In the run up to the AW19 edition, here are some of the most exciting emerging brands on the block exhibiting at Jacket Required this season:

Established in 2014, Edmmond Studios was designed to bring a new fashion and lifestyle concept to the world. The Spanish brand work to combine their experiences with cultures, passions and people from around the world to build something that’s one-of-a-kind. Showcasing a contemporary vision of fashion with European influence the Edmmond Studios aesthetic recognises the balance that must be struck between tradition and modernity, comfort and simplicity.

Founded by designer Morten Hvidtsted in 2014, Danish brand Native North clothing stems from the synergy between timeless Scandinavian design, meticulous attention to unique and high-quality fabric choices. Taking inspiration from traditional craftsmanship, classic designs and the Danish culture, Native North aspire to emulate the Scandinavian lifestyle and philosophy. Merging classic and modern materials such as flowing linen, Japanese lyocell, utilitarian ripstop and fine merino, Native North have created a multi-purpose collection made for life in the city.

Loreak is small, independent and global brand, founded in 1995, under the name “Mendian”. Over the years, the brand has evolved in many aspects, but their core ethos remains the same. The guiding principle of Loreak is utility, rather than showiness. Distancing themselves from big city style, Loreak designs are inspired by landscapes, allowing for a sense of freedom and spontaneity in each collection and every garment is designed to be experienced.

With the rise of athleisure in fashion has come the rise of Hummel. Operating in the sphere where fashion meets sports, Hummel came storming into the 21st century by re-launching tracksuits from the 1970s and selling these old school styles through fashion shops internationally. Hummel has a name for doing things a little differently, with a twist of quintessential Hummel character and it is this that the label prides itself on the most.

The Pendleton passion for quality is apparent in everything the label does. Inspired by intricate Native American designs and legends, and made from lightweight, luxurious 100% pure virgin wool, attention to detail is one of the things Pendleton do best. This family-owned business prides itself on its legacy of quality, comfort and beauty.
