Portuguese Flannel

Soft, warm and expertly woven by zealous craftsmen and first-class manufactures in the northern tip of Portugal, the wisdom behind Portuguese Flannel lies at the heart of a passionate workforce and a family business that spans four generations.

Heritage-inspired, Brothers Antonio and Manuel Magalhães honour their great grandfather’s textile legacy and make straight-forward, high-quality shirts using premium cotton. Committed to using fabrics produced in the traditional way, only the finest local material is selected for the brand’s shirts, renouncing any trends of the moment in favour of delivering a delicacy in all stages of production that it is considered a form of art, to produce a wide variety of deliberately distinguished garments.

Sperry Top-Sider

In 1935 – having cut grooves into the soles of a pair of rubber-soled shoes to make them slip-resistant – Mr Paul Sperry was credited with inventing the world’s first boat shoe. Creating quality footwear with a preppy East Coast style for life's adventure on the open sea has been the brand’s passion ever since.

These days, Sperry meticulously crafts sea-worthy sandals, comfortable dress shoes and performance boat shoes that blend naturally with fashion on the mainland – evolving from the original boat shoe into one of the great, authentic lifestyle brands spanning fashion and function without a drop of compromise, whether you're out on deck or strolling through the city.

Wood Wood

Contemporary fashion and lifestyle label Wood Wood mixes formal suiting silhouettes with a sporty and casual look inspired by its native city Copenhagen. Since launch in 2002, the brand has evolved from its original mission to simply produce high-quality everyday essentials, to become a driving force in European street couture.

With its own stores in Berlin, Aarhus and Copenhagen, the label – directed by co-founders Karl-Oskar Olsen and Brian SS Jensen – focuses on well-made classics with a twist to embody a laid-back blend of the underground and the avant-garde, while ensuring each new collection remains true to the progressive sports-fashion approach of the brand.

Bethnals

Simple, quality, fuss-free denim that speaks volumes without the need to be over-styled. Bethnals, the London unisex denim brand, brings it back to basics – taking the classic heritage of a life-long staple and putting a modern London-inspired stamp on it, with a collection of clean-cut staples and considered design.

Denim perfectionists – Bethnals look for the best quality denim for its jeans – producing well-made, premium fabrics cut in simple and modern pieces destined to see you beyond the season ahead. A new revolution of style undefined by gender. Inspired by fit, detail and the diverse cultural hub that is London to provide a faithful uniform.

Teva

Facilitating adventures worldwide since 1984 – as the creator of the original sports sandal, Teva continue to be driven by the independent spirit and clean, modern design for active lifestyles. The Teva Original came from humble beginnings — an old Velcro watch strap attached to a flip-flop — developing into the brand’s patented universal strapping system to grow into an icon that speaks to the masses. Everything the brand does and makes is in service of the adventurous spirit, knowing unscripted moments are the ones that turn into the best memories.

Sold in over 40 countries worldwide, the recent revival in casual sandals has seen the label go from strength-to-strength, working with directional retailers including Opening Ceremony, Oshman and most recently United Arrows to create exclusive collaborations, capturing the attention of a younger audience.

Ben Davis

Founded in San Francisco, California, by Ben Davis and his father Simon Davis, the USA work clothing line has been making high-quality durable wears since 1935.

A true legacy – Davis’ grandfather, Jacob was instrumental in the creation of the original Levi’s Jeans label. Born in 1834 in Riga, Latvia, he came to the USA in the 1850s, extensively moving around the West Coast to make a living before settling in Reno, tailoring fine clothing along with manufacturing tents and horse blankets with copper rivets for added strength. In the late 1870s, when a women came to him for a cheap pair of pants for her large husband – he employed the techniques he’d used to craft utilitarian items. By 1871 Davis was routinely using rivets – first on duck, soon after on denim, and was beginning to be imitated by other tailors. When Davis contacted Levi Strauss, his fabric supplier, to help him apply for a patent, Strauss extended an invitation to come to San Francisco to oversee production of the riveted pants for Levi Strauss and Company, where he continued to supervise the factory until his death in 1908 – the very same year that the rivet patent went into public domain.

Now known for its smiling gorilla logo – the shape, the logo and the mentioned quality has not changed in over 70 years, and all continues to be made in the USA.
