Jacket Required is a fashion trade show with a difference.
Born from a love of East London, Jacket Required is located in the heart of the capital’s creative district. Each season, the iconic Old Truman Brewery hosts two floors of carefully curated collections from some of fashion’s most exciting brands.
Starting as a menswear-only show, Jacket Required now encompasses selected mens’ and womenswear brands as well as a range of the latest lifestyle labels.
Jacket Required is now a must-attend event for some of the industry’s key buyers, with the likes of ASOS, Urban Outfitters, John Lewis, and many others visiting. Open exclusively to retailers and the press, the show is curated especially for buyers who want to keep their product offering one step ahead of the game.
Included in the AW19/20 edition are exclusive talks and workshops. London-based denim brand, Blackhorse Lane Ateliers, will host an expert denim repair workshop bringing old garments back to life. Elsewhere on the programme, Caryn Franklin MBE will chair an insightful panel session on the slow fashion movement, with panellists including Christopher Raeburn, Stacey Wood of King & Tuckfield and Hans Ates of Blackhorse Lane Ateliers.

As new trends are introduced season after season, the quintessential British Man and Woman continue to reinvent themselves, influenced by social economical changes and popular culture.
